house rules

Community
guidelines

Vibe Garage is a safe space for people who love to build with AI. These rules are short on purpose.

Say hi in the welcome thread

01

Be kind, always

Assume good intent. Everyone here started somewhere, and most of us are still figuring it out.

02

No gatekeeping, no skill-shaming

“Real programmers would…” doesn’t fly here. Building with AI is real building. Beginner questions are explicitly welcome, especially in Newbie Corner.

03

Respect the feedback level

If a post says Just vibes, bring hype, not critique. Gentle tips means kind and constructive. Tear it apart means honest, but never personal.

04

Lift people up

Positive reactions only: no downvotes. In Help Me Unstick, mark the reply that solved it as the answer so the helper gets the credit.

05

Keep secrets secret

Never post API keys, passwords or personal data. The submit form checks for common slip-ups, and the moderator will quietly help you clean up.

06

Credit and honesty

Share where code, assets or ideas came from. Remixing is encouraged; passing off someone else’s work isn’t.

07

Reporting is easy

Everything here lives on GitHub, so open the post on GitHub, click the ··· menu and choose Report content. Reports go to the garage’s moderator, and the person you report isn’t told who flagged them.

08

Who keeps the lights on

The community is moderated by its founder, who reviews reports, explains decisions, and is always open to a second look. Volunteer moderator roles will open as the community grows. Want to help? Say so in the welcome thread.
